What is the width of the wall needed to contain water?

What is the width of the wall? We are on a concrete slab converting a pentagon shaped corner sunken shower to a level curbless space. We are doing an angled opening doorway too, like yours but 30”. We are allowing the shower head end to be a wider functional area (42”)and thus save more space in our smaller bathroom at the toilet/vanity opposite end of the room. We want to contain as much water with the least width of wall. Our shower is 60”-65” length.

Hi Karen, thanks for your question! The interior width of the shower is 3'-0" and the overall length is 7'-5 1/2". The half wall on the left of the shower head is 4'-7" in length, the angled opening is 2'-11" and the length of the back wall is 2'-6 1/2". Hope this dimensions help!

Our shower is 65”L. We are planning a glass panel of 33-34” on the shower head side, with a 30-32” angled opening, and the back wall to measure 28”. We hope this will keep most of the water in the shower. We are using a waterfall shower head and a linear drain. We opted for this design to make it a more handicap friendly shower as we age in place... Thank you for sharing your photo/design information!
