Dining table/room lighting

Hi we recently moved in so you'll have to use your imaginations a bit! The room is going to look very different! (I hope)

Floors will be a light oak wood, will probably get a new longer, more contemporary table, new curtains, walls in mizzle/cromarty/similar.

We have the electrician coming to add in wiring so I need to choose lights now :/

I would like a pendant light here i think but can't decide whether to get one, two, or three. I think 3 might be overkill? I am leaning towards glass so the space still feels open?

It's really hard without having anything else in the room to work with!

What do people think about any of the following for this space:

    Out of the 3 you listed, I prefer the first one. The other 2 look more like island lights to me.


    However if you were to put that first light over the table, assuming the table stays in the same position that it is just now, on entering the room you are going to see it perpendicular to the window - the light will not be facing you as in the picture. That would actually annoy me so much that I dont think I would actually have that style of light at all.
