Love this dining nook

Please could you tell me the depth of the bench seating. My space is limited so I wonder what you regard as a minimum depth for the bench? I assume there is no back, just the cushions but what is the height to the seat? Many thanks for any help/advice that you can offer.

    I can't recall exactly but we usually make them about 18". Anything less is a little squished and much more than that is uncomfortable on the backs of knees. But, 18" is usually the seated distance you want, not including cushions. I think we probably had about 18" overall here including the cushions so that would be a little tight for some people. You are correct; this bench does not have a back.
