Gas firepit table question

We have a 15 inch sofa on our patio and just purchased a 24 inch high fire pit table. After we set it up I thought it looked very funny because the table is so much higher than the sofa. Is this normal? I know that they make 18 inch high firepit tables, but we do not want the propane tank outside of the table. Any input would be appreciated.

    I think it looks a little funny for a few reasons. 1) it isn't big enough for your space. A bigger square would work better there. and 2) In my opinion, it is a bit too tall with your low sofa. I know that they make lower lying fire pit tables where the propane tanks lay on their sides (still totally hidden from view).

    I agree with you but I can’t seem to find any 18” tables that fit a propane tank underneath it.
