Best gray paint suggestions?!

Hello! We are painting our kitchen/living room and needing some input..
We are getting the cabinets painted white and looking for a shade of gray that compliments both the cool gray tones in the counter/backsplash as well as the warm wood floors.
Should we be going with a warm gray or a cool gray? We don’t want to go too light and want a nice contrast between the white in the kitchen and the walls. At the same time, this color will be continued in the living room, down the hallway and up the stairs so don’t want it too dark.
