window treatments for large bedroom windows that open out on bottom

our bedroom windows as you can see have five panels. Each of which open out only on the bottom. We would like to be able to open the bottom windows at certain times of
the year to get airflow. Therefore floor-to-ceiling window treatments don't work. we live on a lake with a lake view out our window and prefer natural type or looking products. Trying to figure out the best option. Any suggestions?

    I would use inside mounted bamboo roman shades or wood blinds. They will show off your beautiful woodwork and let you open them just far enough at night to open your windows.

    Hi Carolyn,

    We recommend our collection of Woven Wood Shades. They are woven with natural materials and come in 4 styles. We offer Roman Shade-style Woven Wood Shades in Waterfall & Standard (flat front), Cascade (horizontally stitched) styles, and also a Roller Shade style. You could order these long enough to cover both the top and bottom windows, and then by raising the shades up a bit, you could expose the bottom windows to have them open as you mentioned you like to do. You could always cover the top windows only, leaving the bottom windows exposed all of the time if you would prefer.

    Hey There: minimalistic pleated blinds will work great in your situation. They are only 7/8 inches in depth and host nicely in the window casing. The kicker is, that these blinds open bottom up and top down, so you can enjoy laying in bed with your lake view while you still have your privacy...
