Living room furniture suggestions

I'm in the process of completing my living room but the small floorplan and high ceilings are proving to be challenging. My current sofa (Ikea Ektorp) will not stay, and the Noguchi table is too large for the space.

I'm happy with the dining room, but not the lighting. I'm thinking of putting a Nelson Criss Cross bubble pendant or a gold Sputnik above.

I want to get at least 4 seats in the living room but I'm not sure how to squeeze them in. I like the Sven from Article in tan (https://www.article.com/product/1446/sven-charme-tan-72-sofa) or the Eliot from Joybird in gray (https://joybird.com/loveseats/eliot-loveseat/). I have no idea what to do for chairs or where they'll fit.

I'd love some decor suggestions - the wall around the sliding doors and lack of shades is pretty unattractive. The wall with the console will eventually get wallpaper and a mirror. I'm still wondering about the picture above the fireplace, too.

Any and all suggestions appreciated!

The first picture is gorgeous! Great job - even if you are only in the process. Excellent balance of contrast.

The chairs facing each one at center of rug edge each side of room. Add lamps on console behind couch, & hang up mirror between lamps. Hang up drapes so they skim floor.

Buenas noches gestión estética! Muchas gracias por tus comentarios e ideas aportadas, la verdad es que estamos muy ilusionados con el proyecto pero también es cierto que es una reforma de cierta envergadura por nuestra intención de actualizar y hacer más cómoda la vivienda (en la actualidad no cuenta ni con ducha!) pero a la vez intentar mantener los elementos estéticos de la época que le confieren el encanto que tiene al piso. Agradecemos cualquier asesoramiento ya que las reformas las emprenderemos nosotros mismos, sin ningún arquitecto o interiorista que lidere el proyecto, contrataremos directamente a los profesionales que han de ejecutar la obra, por lo que nos surgen muchas dudas de la mejor opción estética / económica / práctica en diversos elementos. Adjunto otro elemento en el que no llegamos encontrar la opción ideal, hay 2 salas que están separadas también por la misma marquetería que en el dormitorio y unos armarios a ambos lados. Nos gustan estéticamente (no en ese color quizás) pero seria más practico que las 2 salas no estuvieran separadas (una estaría destinada a comedor y la otra a sala de estar), por los que nos planteamos o eliminarlo todo (con dolor en el corazón) o una opción intermedia como vaciar solo la parte central, o la parte central y uno de los laterales. ¿Consejo? Por privado (si se puede hacer esto aquí) podría enviar plano completo del piso y más dudas que tenemos! Gracias!

hi GESTION ESTETICA If you click 'edit' on the page I sent, it displays the distance in centimeters when editing the room dimensions. The closets and furniture shown in image 1 are exactly how my room is, both in dimensions and placement, right now. I plan to remodel it later, like in the second image or a different one that's more organized, as I see fit or as you may suggest.

Buenas, La pared de atrás (a donde el cabecero) se puede armar con un mueble de punta a punta que incluya armario ropero y estanterías o muebles altos encima de la cama. Estos últimos se podrían iluminar con leds, la pared se podría forrar con tejido o papel pintado o revestimiento y esto sería un efecto muy bonito de ver en el cabecero. La otra pared larga podría tener muebles bajos de punta a punta, con un sitio para trabajar (me parece bien que esté delante de la puerta), cajones, tocador, etc en base a quien viva en esta habitación. Y por último decorar con cuadros, una tele, plantas, estanterías, etc. En fin, muchas cosas de pueden proponer, dependerá del presupuesto del cliente. Cierto es que es mejor que s s un profesional el que lo haga y asesore. Suerte PS: esto es houzz España, mejor escribir en español. www.antoniocilea.com

I like the idea of the Sputnik fixture. I think your space needs some bronze! It would look great in there as an accent. And maybe some grass cloth shades and sheer panels at the windows. Looks like you're well on your way to a pretty great space. :)

A quick solution: move the sofa back toward the console ( you may need bigger rug so legs of sofa are still on the carpet) and put two of your six dining chairs on either side of the fireplace. Exchange the positions of the two plants. There are not too many options for sliding glass doors. I suggest white drapes which draw back to each side and the same for your window. How nice to see a room without a too big black leather sectional!! Color scheme and artwork A+. Rethink the mirror...you will always be seeing your reflection. Go for another great piece of artwork.
