    You could just buy a leather belt or two. I did for just that purpose but sadly haven't got around to making the curtains so can't comment on function. A leather worker or cobbler might enjoy the challenge of making some up for you, and helping source suitable leather.

    Ive got tartan curtains just thought the leather buckle tieback fit in well with the scottish theme. Im gonna ask my cobbler to have a go at making me them like you suggest - see what he says, fingers crossed
