Huge living room wall

I am at a lose of what to do with this wall. I can't move the tv (per hubby). Was thinking white wash brick (but I don't want to dress down the area) or entertainment center (I would like to take it with me in a couple of years when we move so no built in). I tend to go traditional, elegant route but like to pop in other styles here and there (industrial, farmhouse or medi). White linen club chairs, chaise lounge and brown leather couch are in the open living area now. I need something for the Windows too. The room just needs help period. To get an idea of my style-- my kitchen is crisp white clean lines, dark wood floors, carrera countertops and herringbone patterned carrera backsplash. I like simple. THANK YOU FOR AN ADVICE!!! I'm sick of looking at this empty wall (Please excuse the kid mess)

Si no te obstinas por poner fotos tuyas variadas y pequeñás, puedes encargar un vinilo autadhesivo, con una imagen de la más alta definición, que haga tu instrumento, o comprar alguna en un banco de imágenes. Procuras que la parte alta izquierda sea lo más neutra posible y pegas la imagen sobre el paramento completo, incluso sobre el frente del split. Muchas gracias por tus comentarios e ideas aportadas, la verdad es que estamos muy ilusionados con el proyecto pero también es cierto que es una reforma de cierta envergadura por nuestra intención de actualizar y hacer más cómoda la vivienda (en la actualidad no cuenta ni con ducha!) pero a la vez intentar mantener los elementos estéticos de la época que le confieren el encanto que tiene al piso. Agradecemos cualquier asesoramiento ya que las reformas las emprenderemos nosotros mismos, sin ningún arquitecto o interiorista que lidere el proyecto, contrataremos directamente a los profesionales que han de ejecutar la obra, por lo que nos surgen muchas dudas de la mejor opción estética / económica / práctica en diversos elementos. Adjunto otro elemento en el que no llegamos encontrar la opción ideal, hay 2 salas que están separadas también por la misma marquetería que en el dormitorio y unos armarios a ambos lados. Nos gustan estéticamente (no en ese color quizás) pero seria más practico que las 2 salas no estuvieran separadas (una estaría destinada a comedor y la otra a sala de estar), por los que nos planteamos o eliminarlo todo (con dolor en el corazón) o una opción intermedia como vaciar solo la parte central, o la parte central y uno de los laterales. ¿Consejo? hace 7 añosThank you S&A decor! I like the mirror idea. Didn't think of that. I don't have any shelving in the room at all. Do you think I need it? Hard to tell from my picture but there is a fireplace on the adjacent wall (I attached another view of the room). There are only 2 walls in the living room and columns separating it from my kitchen. I think I need to hang vs prop up my picture above the fireplace also. ???

Otherwise your console and tv would stay disconnected, due to where you hung your tv, which seems too high. Your Tv would be floating and the console would be sort of useless. Maybe install a longer floating shelf below your tv with no console if you must keep your tv where it is.

I also like the idea of a long narrow bookshelf or credenza to create a base for things you place above it on both sides, art to the right, and a plant and a lamp to the left. Overall, I like your room, and think adding a bit of color will warm those gray walls, and create a focal point at the same time. Good luck!leelee
