Love this pool! What is the finish and color?

    Hi Hayley. The finish is PebbleTec; it's their smooth texture called Pebble Fina, the color is Sapphire Galaxy.

    I really love this color but don't have my husband convinced quite yet and we have to decide soon. Can you see the bottom of the pool? How dark is this water? I want a a deep ocean blue but want to see the bottom not a pond dark color? How is the "mottling" with saphire Galaxy? Are you happy with it?! Sure looks beautiful! We have a very large pool but a lot of it is only about 6 feet deep with the deepest 9 feet and lots of sun - free form and Loy's of stone!

    Did you end up using it? Curious about the Mottling too. I am close to pulling the trigger on color but that is my only hang up.

    The Sapphire Galaxy finish definitely mottles; you'll see highs and lows in the color saturation and you may also see trowel marks as well. It's a popular color for us because of the rich, deep shade of blue. We take all of our clients to see the finishes in person so they are prepared for the look of the mottling. Some clients have changed their mind after seeing the finish in person - most don't.
