    I'm the landscape designer who worked in connection with Mike Richeliey of Cardinal Construction on this high end landscape in Southern California. The firepit is a custom poured in place concrete which used wood forms and a technique so the wood grain would show on the concrete.

    The paving material is a custom color, custom sized cast concrete paver in a sanded finish by Pacific Stone. The pavers were installed in a running bond pattern. In the picture it looks as if they may be wet from cleaning, but the color is uniform
