Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe - they're all very popular ladies to frame. If you could pick a celebrity that would grace a wall in your home, who would it be?

    I'd rather have an antique masterpiece as I find B/W Celebrities photos a bit overdone. But It's a matter of personal preferences!

    Here in one of my project I took a photo to an antique masterpiece exhibited at the Tate Britain, manipulated it and had it print in larger scale wallpaper to create a feature wall.

      Unique and successes all in their own right most coming from a terrible background and whether what they done was good or bad they were and still are inspirational.

      The only way I'd want a celebrity portrait hanging in my home would be an original Warhol. Since that's not going to happen, I'll just say there are no celebrity portraits that I'd want to hang in my house.

      I'd love to have a collection of writers or musicians on a canvas, either American writers in Paris or some old blues photos. Whilst I'm a huge fan of Breakfast at Tiffany's, it's maybe a bit too ubiquitous these-days, though I probably wouldn't say no if somebody handed me a bright, vintage canvas version!

      Why would you let such a personal space like a kitchen be completely dominated by something so impersonal and huge such as a photo of an unrelated celeb?? Surely better to do your own family or friends?

      I think it looks stylish and contemporary. We're very lucky to have a big basement room and we have a giant canvas of the black and white photo taken by David Bailey of Michael Caine smoking a cigarette in the 60s. I absolutely love it and so does everyone of any age who has seen it.

      I am not interested in having pictures of strangers in my house. In an interesting painting maybe but not anyone famous. I prefer real paintings, with life to them. I have mostly interesting and colourful modern art (mainly abstract) or in my kitchen also have some lovely family photos that I update every now and then.

      Does Man Utd count as a celeb? Bedrooms full of posters of team. Along with GAA teams. During major competitions - FIFA World Cup - the newspaper knock-outdraw is posted in the sitting room + dutifully filled out by himself ONLY - using a specially designated marker ....

      Hello Emmeline, Well apart from BB above.. Lovely photo.. I am not actually that keen on the idea at all, I think things have to really mean something to you or be really really interesting, like people you met or knew or family members.. ... In that case I could have a fair few!

      I'm a bit of a renaissance art fan too... Do love an old old canvas portrait - although I have not acquired any... What I do have..... is a signed portrait of Peter Falk...I am a huge huge huge fan of Columbo!!! Love him! He and the episodes.. were such genius and I think a big part, reason why I love interiors... Architecture in LA is magnificent!! : ))
